Privacy Policy
Calendar Girl is a period tracker. What you write in it — your periods, symptoms, mood, notes, weight and everything else in your daily log — stays on your iPhone. We never receive it, we never store it on our servers, and we have no way to read it.
In short. No account, no sign-up. Your cycle data lives on your device. It leaves the device only if you switch on iCloud backup (it goes to your iCloud, not to us) or Apple Health sync (it goes to your Health app). We do receive anonymous statistics about how the app is used and about crashes, and the app shows ads to people who are not subscribed.
1. Who we are
The app is developed and published by Ivan Beschetnikov (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at any time at php701@gmail.com.
2. Your cycle data
Everything you enter in the app — period days, cycle and period length, ovulation, symptoms, mood, flow, intimacy, water, weight, notes, and your PIN — is stored in a file on your device. We do not upload it, we do not have access to it and we cannot recover it for you.
There are exactly two ways this data can leave your iPhone, and both are switched off until you turn them on yourself in Settings:
- iCloud backup. A copy of your history is written to your own iCloud account so a new phone can continue where the old one stopped. It is stored under your Apple Account, subject to Apple’s privacy policy. We cannot see it. Turning the switch off, or deleting the app, ends this.
- Apple Health. If you allow it, the app reads the period days you already keep in Health and writes new ones back. Only menstrual flow data is read or written. In line with Apple’s rules, Health data is never used for advertising and is never shared with anyone.
Exporting a PDF report for your doctor creates the file on your device and hands it to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes from there is entirely your choice; it is not sent to us.
3. What we do collect
The app uses Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring, Remote Config) and Google AdMob. Through them we receive the following, and none of it is linked to your identity:

We do not track you across other companies’ apps and websites, and we do not sell data to anybody.
4. Advertising and your consent
People without a subscription see ads supplied by Google AdMob. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before any personalised advertising happens, using Google’s consent tool. You can change that choice at any time in Settings → Privacy → Ad privacy settings. Without consent you still see ads, but non-personalised ones.
A subscription removes advertising completely, and the ad SDK is not started at all for subscribers.
5. Purchases
Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple. Payment details never reach us — we only learn from Apple whether a subscription is active.
6. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
7. How long data is kept
Your cycle data stays on your device until you delete it or delete the app. An iCloud copy stays in your iCloud until you turn the backup off or delete the app. Analytics and crash data are retained by Google for their standard retention periods.
8. Your rights
Because we hold no data that identifies you, there is nothing personal on our side to hand over or erase. You are in control of everything: delete individual entries in the app, delete the app to remove all local data, turn off the iCloud backup to remove the cloud copy, and change your advertising consent whenever you like. If you are in the EEA or the UK and want to exercise a right under the GDPR, write to us and we will help.

10. Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new version.
